To put your hands in a river is to feel the chords that bind the earth together - Barry Lopez.
Been part of Vanathukal Tirupur for last 9 years from 2015. From a humble beginning of trees planting and now they have taken a big leap on tree plantation in private farm lands.
Today VT is stood to be admired tall around the world not just planting trees but its model of sustainability and economical growth.
On October 2nd SKCRF did one such noble cause through VT a leap that would benefit the ecosystem of a river. Noyyal, for years was forgotten as her path lay destroyed, polluted beyond its capability.
This restoration and tree planting will benefit its an entire ecosystem that co exists with us as humans.
I am proud to be associated with SKCRF Karthi Anna and VT.
I belong to this land and this place, I Owe.
If you’re intimate with a place, a place with whose history you’re familiar, and you establish an ethical conversation with it, the implication that follows is this: The place knows you’re there. It feels you. You will not be forgotten, cut off; abandoned.
